Yesterday, December 31st, 2022, superstar Afrobeats singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun better known as Wizkid had his much anticipated concert “Vibes on the Beach with Big Wiz” at Landmark Beach Oniru and by extension decided to give back to the society.
A clip is making the rounds online that reveals the moment, Wizkid “Essence” crooner makes some Dollars rain on an upcoming rapper after showing his rapping prowess.
While at the backstage, Wizkid gives the upcoming rapper an opportunity to freestyle, however he managed to impress him and others with his rapping skills and in return the singer decided to show him some love.
This is coming few weeks after Wizkid during an interview argued for the dominance of Afrobeats over the Hip-Hop and further addressed the rap music genre as being dead and boring.
He further stirred many reactions after he refers to Nigerian rappers as non-rappers and called them broke and went on to list best rappers in Africa.
